I’m a father, a biker, a gamer, and a programmer. This is, by no means, in any particular order either. Life has a funny way of mixing things up and I try to just take it in stride. While this isn’t always easy, I personally feel that I’m fairly at it.

Presently I’m writing business applications for a casino in Oregon. While I know how to program in half a dozen languages, most of my recent work has all been C# windows forms work with MS SQL database backends. I’ve always had a natural tallent for software development. My first paid software project occured when I was 12. This set the stage for an exciting career in a field I love.

I ride a 2008 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic. I absolutely love my bike. My favorite time to ride is during the summer months of course though I try to not let the cold and rain stop me as long as it can be done safely. I prefer to ride in small groups with no particular destination in mind. The Oregon/Washington area is so beautiful, any ride is a good ride.

Gaming is a huge part of my life as well. While I play a lot of MMORPGs, I spend a lot of time playing and collecting table top board games and role playing games. I started out playing D&D as a kid. I still play D&D from time to time but more recently I’ve started favoring the lighter story telling systems such as Savage Worlds and Fudge. Board gaming has become a more recent obsession as well. I’m a big fan of most anything produced by Fantasy Flight Games, Days of Wonder, or Steve Jackson Games.

I have two great kids that I’m very proud of. It’s been very exciting watching them develop into fine young adults. My biggest joy has been sharing my various interests with them. I consider myself fortunate that they like sharing my hobbies with me.
